Thank you for the extremely thorough and professional work you’ve done on the Health and Wellness Suite to get us to this point. It has been more (and harder) work than I think any of us expected. You can blame me for that! I recommended the mixed-economy model for a number of strategic and tactical reasons. The detail -as ever- has been illuminating and very involved. I’m really grateful that we have had you to guide us: I have learned a lot.
The work you have done on the HWS has been second to none and I wanted to drop a note to say I really appreciate it. It has put a very complicated operation and set up much easier for us as a Council to work through. The level of detail you have gone into is incredible and will set the HWS up nicely for long term success. .

For many years LA architects, as specialist sports and leisure architects, have been working closely with Joanne Martin. As an overarching statement I can only state that Joanne has been completely professional, extremely knowledgeable, and highly motivated. We have good experiences of our working relationship and would have no hesitation in recommending Joanne to any potential client. In particular, we would note that Joanne was a Client at Parkwood and led three project development submissions. Her leadership and decision making were excellent, and she supported all members of the development team and brought us together fully. Her project and team management skills are to be applauded and the submissions benefitted greatly. In terms of our specific issues we relied heavily on Joanne’s knowledge and understanding of the leisure market and especially the operational and commercial business planning of sports and leisure facilities. I have had the privilege of working with Joanne for 10 years, initially in operations and subsequently in her role as Sales and Marketing Director. Throughout I have found her to be diligent, adaptable, hardworking and incredibly loyal with an innate ability to charm staff, suppliers and clients alike in order to achieve highly challenging business goals.
